Service support to the equipment supplied by Planar Corporation is provided by Planar Service – a dedicated operating unit of Planar Corporation.
Planar Service provides our Customers with:
- minimum terms of equipment installation and commissioning, maintenance, effective use of complex processing equipment in production of semiconductor devices;
- competent consultations, Customer’s specialists training;
- spare parts from stock and manufacturing on order.
Planar Service performs:
- installation and commissioning of equipment;
- training and consultation to the Customers’ specialists by highly-skilled specialists at Planar site as well as at the Customer’s site;
- warranty and after-warranty maintenance;
- software recovery and upgrading;
- technical support while mastering manufacturing processes under serial production;
- upgrading of equipment according to the Customer’s requirements;
- supply of spare parts from warehouse and manufacture on request;
- supply of consumables and accessories;
- refurbishment, supply of second hand equipment and aftersales support;
- consultations, participation in building production lines with equipment, tools of other manufacturers, maintenance and technical support on their behalf;
- provision with the user and maintenance documentation.
Services provided are realized within the framework of supply contracts as well as under direct contracts with the Customers.
We offer various services for continuous maintenance of equipment up to the end of its life time. Together with the Customers we plan the dates, periodicity and costs of technical maintenance by signing a contract.
